STORIES BEHIND PATTERNS

The idea for the Pool Bag and the coming  Pool Lounger Bag came from a talk with my Mother-In-Law Vicki.  She was tired of having her towel fall down or blow away when she went to the pool or beach.

The idea for the Tooth Fairy Tote came when I was trying to develop a free pattern.  I  wanted to put something under my daughter's pillow when she loses a tooth that is flat and not bulky. I found these cute fabrics at on Spoonflower. Originally, I planned on making a the flap out to the end of sides, but I decided bringing it in was a better presentation.

The Doggy Poop Bag and Treat Tote was originally smaller and had the elastic on top. My Mother said the elastic needed a new spot so there was no raw edges so I decided upon the side.
